Herige Industries: Edycem to Acquire BHR's Concrete Operations in Loire-Atlantique

An Operation Aligned with Territorial Consolidation Strategy

Herige Industries plans to acquire the ready-mix concrete activities of BHR in Loire-Atlantique through its subsidiary Edycem, specialized in this field. This acquisition stems from the implementation of rights granted to the group under the agreements concluded in 2020, during the acquisition of BHR's activities in Mayenne and Sarthe.

The operation aims to bolster the production network coverage of the Concrete division and to optimize its territorial mesh for the benefit of its clients and partners. Benoît Hennaut, President of the Management Board of Herige Industries, emphasizes that this operation "would allow Edycem to significantly consolidate its position in Loire-Atlantique in addition to its historical strongholds and to create a lever for growth and value".

The group also intends to support the rollout of low-carbon product ranges developed by Edycem, which is already committed to a transition towards less carbon-intensive concrete products.

Special Attention to Employees and Expertise

Beyond its economic and industrial dimensions, Herige Industries indicates that it places special attention on the employees and the continuity of expertise in the execution of the operation. Philippe Hamard, Leader of BHR, adds: "BHR has honored its legal commitments. We believe that this sale offers prospects for the sites and the employees, within a structured and promising framework for the future."

At this stage, the completion of this operation remains subject to the finalization of definitive agreements, the satisfaction of customary conditions applicable to this type of transaction, as well as the acquisition, if necessary, of required regulatory approvals.
