Herige: Edycem Finalizes Acquisition of Four Concrete Plants in Loire-Atlantique

Four Sites Acquired Around the Nantes Metropolitan Area

Herige Industries announced on September 1, 2026, the completion of the acquisition of ready-mix concrete plants located in Loire-Atlantique, an operation conducted by its concrete subsidiary EDYCEM from BHR.

The acquired scope includes four concrete plants located in Nantes, Malville, Saint-Herblain, and Montoir-de-Bretagne. These sites strengthen EDYCEM's territorial coverage and its presence in the Loire-Atlantique market.

According to the press release, the portfolio represents approximately €14 million in annual revenue and employs 26 employees. These teams join the group as part of the transaction.

The acquisition is part of the Concrete division's development strategy, oriented towards densifying territorial presence and strengthening the group's industrial network.

Acceleration of Low-Carbon Solutions Deployment

The acquisition aims to complement EDYCEM's historical establishments in Loire-Atlantique by adding the four sites around Nantes to its existing network.

The group indicates that the transaction will contribute to accelerating the deployment of low-carbon solutions developed by EDYCEM.

Benoît Hennaut, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Herige Industries, stated that this transaction is consistent with the group's strategic roadmap and offers EDYCEM the opportunity to strengthen its presence in Loire-Atlantique while opening new growth and value creation prospects.
