Ipsos Revises Annual Targets After a Quarter of Growth
Following positive results in the third quarter, Ipsos adjusts its forecasts for the year 2025, according to a company statement.
Strong Performance in the Third Quarter
Ipsos recorded a revenue of 636 million euros in the third quarter, representing a growth of 7.6%, of which 2.9% was organic. This result was supported by acquisitions, particularly of The BVA Family and infas, which contributed to an 8.5% increase related to scope effects. However, currency fluctuations had an unfavorable impact of -3.8% due to the appreciation of the euro. Over the first nine months of the year, total revenue amounted to 1,791 million euros, with an overall growth of 3.6%, including 0.7% organic.
Strategic Acquisitions and Leadership Changes
During the quarter, Ipsos integrated the company The BVA Family, primarily in the French, British, and Italian markets. This acquisition is the most significant since 2018. Additionally, Jean Laurent Poitou has been appointed CEO, marking an important step in the company's long-term strategy. Ipsos continues to develop differentiated offerings based on historical data to strengthen its position as a global leader.
Economic Environment and Revised Objectives
The economic environment remains marked by political uncertainties that affect the Public Affairs activity, particularly in France and the United States, where the political climate is hindering public investments. As a result, Ipsos has revised its organic growth target for 2025 to about 0.7%. However, the group maintains its target for operating margin at around 13% on a constant scope basis, despite the dilutive effects of recent acquisitions. The presentation of the new strategy, initially scheduled for November 2025, has been postponed to January 2026.
