JCDecaux Orchestrates Marketing Blitz for Céline Dion's Return to Paris
JCDecaux has launched an outdoor advertising campaign to promote the announcement of Céline Dion's major comeback to the stage. The campaign, conducted in partnership with Jackie Lombard and AEG Presents, began on March 23 in Paris and expanded to France and internationally from March 31.
Iconic Song Titles Take Over Paris
Since March 23, JCDecaux has been displaying iconic song titles by Céline Dion on its flagpoles in the busiest areas of Paris, without any logos or visual signatures. The displayed songs included 'My Heart Will Go On', 'Pour que tu m'aimes encore', 'Encore un soir', 'S'il suffisait d'aimer', and 'Power of Love'. This minimalist strategy generated over 300,000 reactions and comments on Instagram and hundreds of thousands of posts on social networks and the web.
Official Announcement from the Eiffel Tower
On March 30 at 9:10 PM, the announcement of Céline Dion's return to the stage was officially made from the Eiffel Tower, referencing her performance at the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The artist will perform a series of concerts at the Paris La Défense Arena, making the capital her global residence.
From Teasing to Revelation
Starting March 31, JCDecaux's installations will transition from teasing to revealing the announcement in France and worldwide. According to JCDecaux, this operation demonstrates the power of outdoor advertising to create events and transform the daily life of cities into a collective experience.
