JCDecaux Secures Advertising Contract for New Sydney Airport
JCDecaux SE has won the advertising concession bid for Western Sydney International (WSI), the new 24-hour Sydney airport. This long-term contract allows the group to deploy a premium Digital-Out-of-Home (DOOH) network from the airport's opening in October 2026.
Overview of Western Sydney International
Western Sydney International, also known as Nancy-Bird Walton, is the new international and domestic airport in Sydney. Upon its opening, the airport will be able to accommodate 10 million passengers and will host flights from airlines such as Qantas/Jetstar, Singapore Airlines, and Air New Zealand. Located in the Western Sydney region, Australia's third-largest economy, the terminal has been designed by award-winning firms including Zaha Hadid Architects, COX Architecture, and Woods Bagot.
JCDecaux's Strategic Deployment
JCDecaux will deploy premium digital displays in both the indoor and outdoor environments of the airport as soon as it opens in October 2026. The group will collaborate with WSI and its partners to enable brands to be among the first advertisers in this new global hub.
