Wall GmbH, a subsidiary of JCDecaux SE, has secured the exclusive contract for both analog and digital urban advertising furniture in the city of Rostock. This contract was awarded following a city tender. Wall will undertake the renovation of existing bus shelters and the digitalization of strategic locations in Rostock, the main port on the Baltic Sea and the largest city in the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, with a population of 175,000.
A Renewed Agreement Reflecting Long-standing Collaboration
This agreement, renewing the collaboration between JCDecaux and Rostock, continues a partnership that began 35 years ago, a few months after the fall of the Berlin Wall. The decision to maintain and renovate existing infrastructure aligns with the group's CO? emissions reduction trajectory, particularly regarding Scope 3, in pursuit of its Net Zero goal by 2050.
