In 2025, JCDecaux accounted for nearly 29 million rentals of its bike-sharing services in France, up 69% compared to 2024. By the end of December 2025, the number of long-term subscribers had reached over 233,400, showing a 21% increase from the previous year.
Operational Scope of JCDecaux's Bike-Sharing
JCDecaux operates around 11,000 bike-sharing bicycles in France, distributed across more than 1,100 stations in 41 cities.
Environmental Impact of JCDecaux's Bike-Sharing
According to the press release, journeys made with JCDecaux's bikes in 2025 helped avoid approximately 17,500 tonnes of CO2 equivalent, which corresponds to the annual emissions of a French city with more than 2,000 inhabitants. Since the launch of the first bike-sharing system in Lyon in 2005, JCDecaux's bikes have recorded nearly 610 million rentals in France.
