Kering Establishes New Jewelry Entity and Appoints Jean-Marc Duplaix as Its Head
Kering announces the creation of Kering Jewelry, a new entity dedicated to structuring and accelerating its jewelry business. Jean-Marc Duplaix is appointed as the General Manager of this platform, effective immediately.
Consolidation and Expansion
Kering Jewelry unites the houses of Boucheron, Pomellato, Dodo, and Qeelin, as well as the industrial capabilities of the Group, including the ongoing integration of Raselli Franco Group. This entity forms an integrated platform designed to support the growth of the Houses by leveraging their creative identities and the development of their iconic and high jewelry collections. It will enable the Group to capitalize on new opportunities in this category, including for its Fashion and Leather Goods Houses.
Leadership and Strategic Alignment
Jean-Marc Duplaix takes on the role of Chief Executive Officer of Kering Jewelry with immediate effect. The general managers of the Jewelry Houses will report directly to him, enhancing strategic coherence and operational coordination. He will also maintain his responsibilities as Chief Operating Officer of the Group, which include finance, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, real estate, digital operations, and general secretariat.
