Kering Share: Leading the CAC 40 Pack, Stock Gains Over 1%
The luxury group owning Gucci and Saint Laurent is recovering mid-morning, in a CAC 40 also oriented upward. This rebound comes after two downward target price adjustments, while the share remains under pressure over several months.
A Rebound of 1.14% That Leaves the Share Far From Its Moving Averages
At €212.40, Kering gains 1.14% during the session and ranks among the strongest rises of the CAC 40, which advances 0.57%. The movement remains modest compared to the accumulated decline: the share is down nearly 11% over one month and nearly 15% over three months. It trades 4.05% below its 20-day moving average and 12.55% below its 50-day moving average, while its support at €206.55 is less than 3% away from the current price. The RSI at 33.64 reflects this selling pressure, although the share is not yet oversold.
Two Target Price Cuts from TD Cowen and BofA Dated Yesterday
On Tuesday, TD Cowen reduced its target from €280 to €235, while BofA Securities lowered it from €300 to €280, maintaining its analyst rating at "hold". Even after these revisions, both targets remain above the current price: €235 represents approximately 10.6% upside potential, €280 approximately 31.8%. When publishing H1 2026 results (July 29, 2026), the group reported a net profit attributable to the group down 60%, at 189 million euros, and Gucci revenue down 5% on a comparable basis. For the third quarter, comments reported by the press suggest a difficult late summer for luxury, ahead of sales publication.
