La Française de l'Énergie Announces Its 2025 Annual Results
La Française de l'Énergie has announced its consolidated annual results as of June 30, 2025, marked by the maintenance of operational profitability despite a context of declining electricity prices.
Financial Performance in 2025
According to the press release from La Française de l'Énergie, the 2025 revenue amounted to 30.4 million euros, a decrease of 3.4% compared to 2024, despite a decline of over 30% in electricity prices. The EBITDA for the year reached 17.3 million euros, representing a margin of 57%. The net result attributable to the group was 3.7 million euros, influenced by an increase in financial expenses linked to bank debt. The cash position stood at 62.6 million euros.
Strategic Acquisitions in Europe
The company has strengthened its energy platform in Europe with the acquisition of Alltec, a company specializing in EPC solutions for decarbonized energies, particularly in Norway. These acquisitions have helped to broaden the expertise of La Française de l'Énergie, especially in the fields of renewable natural gas, hydrogen, and solar energy.
Investment Policy and Future Plans
La Française de l'Énergie indicates that it has maintained a robust investment policy, in line with its strategic plan aiming for a significant increase in its low-carbon energy production capacities by 2030. The group plans to commission several production units by 2026, contributing to meeting the growing demand for low-carbon energy. FDE is particularly focusing on the development of its low-carbon methane project in Lorraine and hydrogen production in Agder.
