Lisi Shares Drop Nearly 3% and Give Up Record of €71.70 After a 90% Rally
The aerospace and automotive equipment manufacturer takes a breather after a series of euphoric sessions. The stock cools down at midday, while the SBF 120 remains well-oriented thanks to consumer stocks.
The Stock Breaks Away from Its Resistance at €71.70 and Cools Down a Hot Streak
Lisi shares lose 2.79% to €69.70 during the session, after closing the previous day at a record of €71.70. This movement places the stock among the steepest declines in the SBF 120, contrary to an index that is up 0.44%. However, the correction is limited considering the recent trajectory: the stock is still up nearly 90% over one year and 26% over three months.
The decline today occurs exactly at the threshold of €71.70, which had served as historical resistance before being surpassed last week. The RSI at 69 had just exited the overbought zone, making the profit-taking not surprising after the nearly 5% jump on July 3rd.
A Comfortable Technical Cushion Above the Moving Averages
Despite today's setback, the chart configuration remains upward-oriented. The price is 4.09% above the MM20 (€66.96) and 6.53% above the MM50 (€65.43), both short-term moving averages that have supported the rise since spring. The gap with the MM200 (€55.62) reaches 25.31%, illustrating the magnitude of the rally in recent months.
The next technical support is identified at €62.90, nearly 10% below the current price. In the short term, the €66.96 zone (MM20) offers a natural first level of retreat. The stock continues to be driven by the dynamics of the aerospace sector, following the target increase by Oddo BHF at the beginning of July.
