Air France-KLM shares rebound 2.5% but fall 13% over three months
The Franco-Dutch airline group rebounds sharply during the session, in a well-oriented Parisian market. The move follows a long decline and several contextual pieces of information, both industrial and regulatory, that have surrounded the stock in recent days.
A 2.43% rebound that leaves the stock below its MM20, after a month of decline
Air France-KLM gains 2.43% to €10.54 and ranks in the top half of the SBF 120, while the index rises 1.19%. Airbus (+2.98%) and ADP (+2.16%) move in the same direction.
The rebound remains modest given the past month, as the stock still falls 9.57% over one month and 13.04% over three months. It still trades below its MM20 (a gap of 0.89%), below its MM50 (6.19%) and below its MM200 (5.85%), which limits the technical significance of the session.
The RSI at 45 remains neutral, while support stands at €9.95. On the fundamentals, the company communicated on 30 July 2026, with its first-half results, a prudent and agile approach, with 2026 capacity outlook revised in an environment described as particularly volatile.
The Brent crude price, at $109.87 per barrel, remains high, which weighs on the sector's fuel costs.
A350 joint venture with Airbus, US penalty and publication scheduled for 5 November
The group has finalised with Airbus the joint venture Alpha Component Solutions, whose completion was announced on 28 October 2026. Operated jointly with the manufacturer, it already contractually covers more than 500 aircraft. The press has also reported in recent days a penalty from the US administration linked to overflying prohibited airspace over Iraq, a matter treated as simple context.
On valuation, according to the consensus of the analysts surveyed, the stock trades at around 3.3 times earnings for the current fiscal year and 2.5 times those of the following year.
A €1 billion share buyback programme, announced on 9 June 2026, is also among the contextual elements of the file. The next scheduled date is 5 November, with the publication of third-quarter 2026 results.
