Lisi stock rebounds by more than 2% and targets its moving averages
The aerospace and automotive equipment supplier is rebounding sharply in trading this Wednesday, ranking among the best performers in the broader index. The movement comes as the stock remains in negative territory over recent weeks, in a context of generally well-oriented European markets.
A rebound of 2.25% that only partially offsets the decline of the last four weeks
Lisi gains 2.25% in trading at €63.70, after closing the previous day at €62.30. The stock ranks among the strongest increases on the SBF 120, in a Paris market that advances 0.46% at the same time. This rebound occurs in a recent difficult context for the stock: it still loses nearly 5% over the past week and declines 4.78% over a month, so that today's gains offset only a fraction of the monthly decline.
Over one year, however, performance remains remarkable, at more than 40%. Aluminum, a raw material to which the group is exposed, has declined 8% over a month and 12% over three months, according to the latest available data, which mechanically weighs on costs or market prices in the sector.
The price remains below its short-term moving averages, above the €62 support level
Despite today's rebound, Lisi still trades below its twenty-day moving average (€65.54, with a variance of -2.81%) and its fifty-day moving average (€66.29, with a variance of -3.91%), two benchmarks that constitute short-term resistance levels. The advance to €63.70 nevertheless places the stock above the €62 support level, a threshold tested during recent weak sessions, and comfortably above the two-hundred-day moving average (€58.89, with a variance of +8.17%), which preserves the underlying uptrend over the long term. The RSI at 38 is in the lower zone without reaching the oversold threshold, reflecting a weakening of selling pressure after the month's decline.
The analyst opinions on the value remain to be monitored to confirm or refute the medium-term direction. The resistance at €65.54 (MA20) represents the first obstacle to monitor in the rebound dynamic initiated today.
