Lower end of the SBF 120 index: Exosens stock retreats 2% following its nuclear rebound
The Bordeaux-based optronic company is posting a sharp decline in mid-afternoon, bucking a Paris market that is slightly oriented upward. The move follows a rebound last week, linked to the supply of neutron detectors for American reactors.
A decline that brings the price below its three moving averages
The Exosens stock is down 2.25% at €56.60, while the SBF 120 is gaining 0.14% and the CAC 40 is up 0.12%. The stock is among the largest declines on the index. It is now below its moving averages, 4.12% below the 20-day MA (€59.03) and 5.75% below the 200-day MA (€60.05), after losing 7.37% over a week.
The support level at €54.15 is less than 5% away from the current price. The RSI at 48 remains neutral: the decline is therefore not accompanied by excessive selling pressure, and the stock is maintaining a one-year gain of 30.26%.
Neutron detectors and October 27 publication on the calendar
On October 8, Exosens announced that it had supplied neutron detectors to Antares Nuclear and Valar Atomics, whose first two reactors reached criticality as part of the U.S. Department of Energy pilot program. The announcement of these supplies was followed by a 2.5% rebound on October 9, which has since been largely erased. The group had also raised its 2026 targets on September 17, with revenue up approximately 20% and adjusted EBITDA advancing by around 25%. The next milestone is the publication of nine-month results, expected on October 27.
