Mastrad Signs Two Development Contracts with GE Appliances and Hisense
Mastrad has announced the signing of two development and technological adaptation contracts with major international home appliance groups. The first contract involves a connected temperature device for GE Appliances (a subsidiary of Haier), and the second involves the supply of temperature probes for Hisense via its subsidiary Gorenje.
Contract Details and Objectives
Mastrad has entered into a contract with GE Appliances, a subsidiary of the Haier Group, focusing on the development and prototyping of a connected temperature device intended to be integrated into specific cooking containers. The project includes the adaptation of Mastrad's existing technological components, hardware and software development, and the creation of functional prototypes. A second contract was signed with the Hisense group, through its European subsidiary Gorenje, concerning the supply and adaptation of temperature probes to be integrated into cooking appliances, as part of a technology evaluation and integration program.
Future Prospects and Risks
The company emphasizes that any increase in volume, industrialization, or large-scale commercial deployment will remain conditional on the technical validation of the developed solutions, the industrial and commercial decisions of each partner, as well as the company's ability to continue executing its strategy. The realization of prospects is subject to several risk factors, including a constrained cash flow context, the ability to finalize the various technical and industrial stages of ongoing projects, and market conditions and decisions of industrial partners.
