Medincell stock breaks its support at €24.10 and slides toward a new low
Medincell declined sharply on Monday in an almost stable Paris market, deepening its downtrend observed over several weeks. The stock broke a technical support level during the session, intensifying selling pressure noted since the beginning of the month.
A support broken during the session that isolates the stock among the strongest declines in the index
The Medincell stock fell 3.86% to €23.92 during trading, while the CAC 40 and SBF 120 remained near equilibrium (around -0.01% each). This decline places the stock among the strongest declines of the SBF 120 at mid-session. The move is all the more notable as the stock broke its support at €24.10 during the session and failed to recover it, with the price fluctuating around €23.94.
This downward breach of a level tested several times reinforces the short-term bearish configuration. The situation of moving averages confirms this dynamic: the stock is trading below the 20-day MA (€24.95, difference of -4.13%), the 50-day MA (€25.97, difference of -7.89%) and the 200-day MA (€25.59, difference of -6.53%), three benchmarks aligned above the current price. The RSI at 47, close to the neutral zone, does not yet indicate marked selling exhaustion, which leaves the configuration open to a continuation of the decline.
A decline that reflects a degraded quarterly trend, despite identified commercial prospects
Over one month, Medincell lost 7%, and nearly 12% over three months, erasing part of the annual gain which remains positive at +33.56% over twelve months. This short-term tension contrasts with the prospects identified when the 2025/2026 fiscal year results were published on June 16, 2026: the company anticipated the commercial launch of Olanzapine LAI in the fourth quarter of 2026 and expected continued growth in UZEDY royalties. These elements represent the main operational levers expected in the coming months.
On the risk side, the company had noted a foreseeable increase in its operating expenses linked to its development. From a valuation perspective, the consensus of surveyed analysts anticipates a gradual return to profitability: the stock is currently trading at approximately 57 times the expected earnings for the following fiscal year, still a high multiple that reflects the company's growth profile. The nearest resistance is identified at €26.88, approximately 12% above the current price.
