Mercialys Reintegrated into CDP's Climate A List
Mercialys has been reintegrated into the Carbon Disclosure Project's (CDP) 'A List' for Climate, an international organization that assesses corporate climate policies. This recognition is part of the company's long-term commitment to combating climate change.
Annual Evaluation by CDP
Each year, the CDP assesses the completeness and quality of information disclosed by companies on the governance of climate issues, the identification and management of financial risks associated with climate change, and performance in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Mercialys' presence in the 'A List' reflects, according to the press release, the actions and investments made over the long term within its portfolio of shopping centers. In 2025, Mercialys enhanced its decarbonization target to cover all scopes 1, 2, and 3 under a whole building approach. This ambition has been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) according to the 'Buildings' sector standard.
Emission Reduction Goals
The targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions per square meter are set at -62% by 2030 and -92% by 2050, compared to 2017. Mercialys has continuously participated in the CDP questionnaire since 2018, with responses being public. The company affirms its commitment to transparency and the provision of reliable, comparable, and actionable environmental data for investors and stakeholders.
