Nearly 9% Abandoned in Five Sessions: Exosens Share (Optronic) Falls Back
The Bordeaux-based optronics company is declining this Thursday, in a Paris market oriented downwards. The movement erases Wednesday's rebound and places the security back in a configuration of decline that the past week had already outlined.
A Decline That Extends the Slide Below Moving Averages
Exosens loses 2.59% to €54.55, against €56 at the previous close, while the SBF 120 declines 0.94% and the CAC 40 0.87%. The security is thus classified in the lower part of the index, without ranking among its heaviest declines. Over the week, the decline reaches 8.78%, a movement that leaves the security below its MA20 (€58.76, gap of 7.16%) as well as below its MA50 (€59.81) and its MA200 (€59.90). The price thus remains more than 8% below both long-term averages, after a Wednesday rebound that did not hold.
The support at €54.15 is now less than 1% from the price, while the RSI at 41 remains in neutral territory. This session follows several back-and-forths since mid-September. The group had raised its 2026 targets on September 17, which had propelled the security to the top of the SBF 120, before gains eroded session after session.
Targets Raised in September and a Publication Expected Late October
On September 17, the group revised upward its ambitions for 2026, with approximately 20% growth in its revenue and approximately 25% growth in its adjusted EBITDA, with revenue potentially reaching €570 million. The next day, two brokerages had raised their targets, and Bernstein set its target at €74 on September 23. The analyst consensus thus remains significantly above the current price, but the market did not follow this increase over time.
Over three months, the security loses 8.17%, while it maintains a gain of 23% over one year. The next appointment is the publication of nine-month results, expected on October 27.
