Nexity Appoints Cécile Raquin as Group Secretary General
Real estate developer Nexity announced on Thursday the appointment of Cécile Raquin, former Director General of Local Authorities at the Ministry of Territorial Planning and Decentralization, as the Group's Secretary General and Secretary of the Board of Directors. She will join the Executive Committee, reporting to CEO Véronique Bédague.
Fifteen Years of Service to Local Communities
Cécile Raquin, a member of the Council of State since 2008, brings public and institutional expertise built over more than fifteen years. She began her career as a rapporteur in the litigation section of the Council of State (2008-2011), and subsequently held roles in the Prime Minister's office responsible for decentralization and local communities (2012-2016), before becoming the deputy director and then chief of staff at the Ministry of Territorial Cohesion (2019-2022). She has been the Director General of Local Authorities since December 2022. Raquin is an alumna of the École nationale d'administration (Aristide Briand class) and holds a degree from the Paris Institute of Political Studies.
Consolidation of Legal, CSR, and Public Affairs Functions
The General Secretariat now encompasses the Legal Department, the CSR Department, public affairs, institutional relations, and relations with local authorities. This reorganization aims to enhance the coherence of Nexity's actions with public stakeholders and to further embed the Group's purpose at the heart of its governance, according to the press release.
