Nextedia Returns to Growth in H1 2026, Driven by Cybersecurity
Nextedia (Euronext Growth, ALNXT) has halted its business downturn in the first half of 2026 with an organic growth of +1%, following a decline of 8.2% a year earlier. This recovery confirms that the strategic repositioning initiated 18 months ago is bearing fruit. However, the two business units of the group are not performing at the same pace: Cybersecurity is driving growth while Digital & Customer Experience is still struggling to restructure, highlighting a transition far from stabilized.
Revenue of €28.7 Million: Underlying Stabilization Despite Reported Decline
Nextedia reported revenue of €28.7 million in the first half of 2026, slightly down in gross terms compared to the same period in 2025. Adjusted for the perimeter effect related to the exit of Ornidex (€0.5 million), organic growth stands at +1.0%. This result marks a turning point: after a decline of 8.2% in the first half of 2025, activity has balanced out in the first half of 2026. This stabilization occurs in a market context that is not very supportive. According to the Numeum-Xerfi observatory of June 2026, French digital services companies (ESN) are expected to record only +1% growth for the whole of 2026. Decision-makers' wait-and-see attitude and price pressure continue to weigh on the sector. In this constrained environment, Nextedia's ability to return to growth suggests that its repositioning efforts are correctly targeting the growth segments.
Thriving Cybersecurity, Restructuring Digital: Diverging Trajectories
The group presents a portfolio of activities with opposing dynamics. The Cybersecurity division achieved €14.6 million in revenue in the first half of 2026, up by +4.2%. This increase is fueled by the structural growth of the cybersecurity market and by the rise in recurring contracts, which are more stable in terms of revenue visibility. Conversely, the Digital & Customer Experience division recorded €14.2 million, down 5.1% in reported terms and 2.1% organically (after excluding Ornidex). This contraction reflects the effects of the operational staff restructuring launched in 2024 and still ongoing. The group has renewed some teams to realign them with future challenges, at the expense of short-term business volume. The Technology division, which represents 38% of the total (€11.0 million), shows a progression of +10.5%, while the Services division (62% of the total, €17.7 million) declines by 4.2% organically, illustrating the disengagement from activities exposed to strong margin compression.
AI and Cloud at the Heart of Redeployment, but the Market Remains Waiting
Nextedia intends to progressively integrate AI and the widespread adoption of cloud into the core of its expertise, both in Cybersecurity and Digital and Customer Experience. According to the group, the first structured offers around this transformation are beginning to gain commercial traction and the resulting projects are materializing. However, the company approaches the second half of 2026 in a market context that 'does not yet show clear signs of recovery.' Nextedia will therefore prioritize commercial selectivity over volume pursuit. In the medium term, the group believes that the fundamentals of the two addressed segments (Cybersecurity and Digital) remain favorable, driven by the AI and cloud transformations of organizations. Marc Negroni, CEO, stated that the group is willing 'to reduce [its] revenue to focus on value creation at the expense of volume.' He acknowledges, however, that 'these efforts will weigh in the short term.'
