OPmobility and the Yanfeng Group will bolster their joint venture YFPO, a leader in Chinese exterior car body parts, by transferring their respective module assembly activities to it. YFPO will also be able to offer signature lighting and decorative solutions, thereby broadening its technological portfolio. Following the completion of this operation, scheduled for 2026 pending approval from Chinese authorities, YFPO will encompass approximately 3,000 employees, 38 factories, and an R&D center in China. The integration of these new activities is expected to generate industrial and commercial synergies and strengthen the group's position with automotive manufacturers, particularly new Chinese electric and hybrid players.
