OPmobility Records Increased Operating Margin to EUR 490 Million in 2025
Automotive supplier OPmobility reports strong results for the year 2025, with significant growth in operating margin and a substantial increase in free cash flow. The company's financial structure has strengthened, while Félicie Burelle is confirmed as CEO.
Financial Performance Highlights
OPmobility posted an economic turnover of EUR 11,537 million in 2025, up 1.7% excluding exchange rate effects, supported by particularly dynamic activity in the United States and Asia. The operating margin stood at EUR 490 million, an increase of EUR 50 million from 2024, marking an 11.4% rise. The operating margin rate reached 4.8%, up by 0.6 points, driven by excellent operational efficiency and cost reduction measures, especially notable in the fourth quarter. EBITDA amounted to EUR 1,001 million, up 7.7%. The net income attributable to the group reached EUR 185 million, an improvement of EUR 15 million compared to 2024, representing 1.8% of consolidated revenue.
Cash Flow and Debt Management
The group's free cash flow stood at EUR 297 million in 2025, up by EUR 51 million or 20.7% compared to 2024, resulting from an increase in cash generated by the historical business groups and controlled investments. Net debt was EUR 1,409 million as of December 31, 2025, down by EUR 167 million from the end of 2024. The leverage ratio was 1.4x EBITDA and the gearing was 66%, compared to 1.7x EBITDA and 76% the previous year, respectively. The group's investments totaled EUR 448 million, accounting for 4.4% of consolidated revenue, down by 11.7%. A dividend of EUR 0.49 per share will be proposed at the general meeting on April 23, 2026.
Leadership and Strategic Developments
Félicie Burelle has been confirmed by the board of directors as the CEO of OPmobility SE for the duration of her next three-year term as a director, which will be subject to approval at the general meeting on April 23, 2026. The group confirms the acceleration of its diversification strategy in North America and Asia, with a potential acquisition of a controlling stake in Hyundai Mobis's lighting business, presented as a major strategic step for the development of Lighting. OPmobility also achieved carbon neutrality in 2025 across scopes 1 and 2 for the entire group, including the Lighting acquisitions made in 2022. For 2026, the group aims to improve its operating margin, net income, free cash flow, and net debt compared to 2025.
