Orange Business and Tech Mahindra in Exclusive Negotiations for a Strategic Partnership
On March 2, 2026, Orange Business and Tech Mahindra announced the opening of exclusive negotiations to establish a strategic partnership without equity involvement. This collaboration project aims to accelerate the digital transformation of enterprise clients worldwide by leveraging the capabilities of both groups.
Details of the Proposed Partnership
The proposed partnership is planned for a five-year period and is based on a joint commercial approach focused on enhancing regional synergies, the joint development of innovative solutions, and the increased utilization of existing platforms. The partnership includes the outsourcing of part of the international customer support of Orange Business to Tech Mahindra, as well as some activities related to quoting, ordering, billing, and post-sales outside of France. Orange Business will continue to directly manage end-to-end services for certain critical segments, including operations in France, ensuring full compliance with French and European regulations.
Strategic Benefits and Growth Opportunities
Orange Business aims to boost its growth through increased competitiveness of its international activities and by accessing new markets through this joint commercial approach. Tech Mahindra will benefit from economies of scale by leveraging Orange's expertise, infrastructure, and trusted platforms to develop and offer new high-value services. A comprehensive review of current operations, processes, tools, and performance indicators is intended to identify areas where Orange could rely on Tech Mahindra's expertise and where the partnership could have the most impact.
Implementation Contingencies
The implementation of this project remains conditional upon the conclusion of the consultation process with the relevant employee representative bodies.
