Pharming: Chief Executive Officer Fabrice Chouraqui Steps Down with Immediate Effect
The Dutch biotechnology company has entrusted leadership to two incumbent executives while awaiting the appointment of a permanent successor. The departure takes effect immediately.
A Departure Decided by Mutual Agreement with the Board
Pharming (Euronext Amsterdam: PHARM / Nasdaq: PHAR) announced on September 29, 2026 that the board of directors and Fabrice Chouraqui have agreed by mutual consent that he is stepping down from his position as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and executive director, with immediate effect.
According to the press release, following discussions on the execution of the group's strategic priorities for its next phase, the board of directors and Fabrice Chouraqui concluded that their views on how to advance the company's strategy were not sufficiently aligned. The parties therefore agreed on a transition at the helm of the company.
