Pluxee Shares Bounce Back at Close on Strong Quarterly Results
On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, Pluxee shares closed with a significant gain of 7.05%, reaching a price of 12.00 euros compared to 11.21 euros the previous day. This increase followed the announcement of reassuring first-quarter revenues for fiscal year 2026. The specialist in prepaid service vouchers maintains its annual targets despite regulatory uncertainties in Brazil, its primary market.
Strong Performance in the First Quarter
On January 7, Pluxee unveiled a total revenue of 308 million euros for the first quarter, marking an organic growth of 9.0%. The operational revenue reached 268 million euros, up by 9.1% organically, supported by robust growth in the Employee Benefits segment. Float revenues amounted to 40 million euros, growing organically by 8.5%, driven by higher interest rates in Brazil. The group confirms all its ambitions for fiscal year 2026, anticipating a stable total revenue, after lowering its outlook in November due to Brazilian regulatory constraints. If the measures announced in Brazil are fully confirmed, they would continue to impact the group's financial results in the first half of fiscal year 2027, with management expecting a return to a sustainable growth trajectory starting from the second half of 2027. Meanwhile, the group has completed the acquisition of Skipr, an innovative provider of employee mobility benefits in Belgium and France, as well as ProEves, an Indian leader in corporate childcare benefits.
Technical Analysis of the Stock Rebound
From a technical standpoint, the 7.05% rebound observed this Wednesday occurred as the stock was nearing its support threshold at 11.21 euros. However, the current price of 12.00 euros is still distant from the resistance level at 13.49 euros, which will be the next hurdle if the rebound continues. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) shows a very low value of 18, indicating a significant oversold zone that may encourage buying positions. With a monthly volatility of 8.17 and a three-month decline of 22.03%, the stock remains vulnerable. Regarding analyst recommendations, Alphavalue lowered its price target from 29.40 euros to 21.00 euros in mid-January, while Morgan Stanley reduced it from 23.00 euros to 21.00 euros in December, maintaining an equal-weight rating. These targets suggest a potential upside of 75% from the current price, reflecting relative optimism from experts about the group's ability to overcome Brazilian regulatory hurdles and return to profitable growth.
