Procter & Gamble Rolls Out Support Program for Mississippi Disaster Victims
Procter & Gamble has activated its disaster relief program to assist residents of Mississippi affected by a major winter storm. In partnership with Walmart and Matthew 25: Ministries, the company is offering free hygiene and laundry services.
Activation of the P&G Disaster Relief Program in Mississippi
The P&G Disaster Relief Program has been activated to support recovery efforts in Oxford and Ripley, Mississippi. The Tide Loads of Hope mobile unit will provide comprehensive, free laundry services to residents and emergency responders. Residents may bring up to two loads of laundry per household for free washing, drying, and folding. Shower trailers will also be available, offering hot showers with five private bathroom units, one of which is accessible, along with a Pampers diaper changing station. Personal care products from P&G brands such as Pantene, Head & Shoulders, Olay, and Old Spice will be available, along with freshly laundered towels. P&G will also distribute free care kits containing essential products from P&G brands in affected neighborhoods, in partnership with Matthew 25: Ministries.
Service Schedule and Locations
Starting the afternoon of Friday, January 30, 2026, teams will collect laundry and deploy relief vehicles at two identified Walmart locations: Oxford (Walmart Supercenter #699, 2530 Jackson Ave W.) and Ripley (Walmart #176, 822 City Ave S.). Services will be available from 2 PM to 5 PM on Friday, January 30, and then from 9 AM to 5 PM daily or until daily capacity is reached. All services are free and available to local families and emergency responders as long as supplies last.
