Renault: 444,000 Sales on Premium Models, Upscaling Accelerates
Renault announces enhancements to its three flagship models from C and D segments with new technologies and equipment. This announcement follows a year 2025 marked by the active participation of these three models in the growth of the group in these segments.
Strategic Upscaling with Focus on High-End Models
Renault confirms its upscaling strategy with sales focused on the high-end versions of its Austral, Espace, and Rafale models. In 2025, these three models actively contributed to Renault's growth in the C and D segments, with 444,000 units sold, of which 158,000 were in France. On the Rafale, the flagship model in Europe, 85% of sales were made in the Alpine spirit finish and Alpine workshop. This performance has reinforced Renault's leadership in France in the full hybrid market, a position held since 2023.
Technological Advancements and New Features for 2026
For the year 2026, the three models offer technological advancements and new features: a new last-generation Qi2 induction charger, a new connectivity offer providing more data and exclusive applications, an advanced driver monitoring system capable of detecting any signs of fatigue, and a Smart mode to instantly adapt to driving changes. A new Satin Slate Blue body color is added on Austral and Espace, while Rafale offers an optional Black grained coated textile upholstery. All these new features are available for order now in France.
