Safe: an order expected by September 23
Medical technology group Safe has provided an update on the legal proceedings initiated in Lyon to replace its statutory auditor, a step linked to the suspension of its share listing since June 30, 2026.
The September 7 hearing, following the August 5 adjournment
Safe Group indicated, in a press release published on September 8, 2026, that a hearing was held the previous day before the Lyon Court of Economic Activities. This hearing is part of proceedings initiated with a view to removing its statutory auditor from office and appointing a replacement. The Company had filed an emergency proceeding with the Court on July 29, 2026, as recalled in its press release of August 25, 2026. A first hearing, held on August 5, 2026, had been adjourned to September 7 due to the absence of the statutory auditor. At the September 7 hearing, the Company reiterated, through its counsel, the main elements of the case supporting its request. The President of the Court requested additional information with a view to deliberating on the matter.
Resumption of listing conditional on the audit report
Safe indicated that an order is expected by September 23, 2026 at the latest. It will allow the Court to rule on the Company's request and, in the event of the appointment of a replacement statutory auditor, to permit the launch of audit work necessary for the certification of the 2025 annual accounts. The Company recalled that the resumption of the listing of its shares falls within the purview of Euronext and requires prior issuance of the audit report on its individual and consolidated accounts by the statutory auditor. Safe will communicate as soon as the Court's decision has been notified to it.
