Safran Breaks Through €343.70 Resistance and Positions High in the CAC 40
Safran's stock gains 2.53% to €345.00 during the session and ranks among the highest risers in the CAC 40, trailing behind ArcelorMittal and Schneider Electric. The stock has broken through the €343.70 resistance during the session and remains above it, after having reached €344.80. This movement extends a spectacular rally: the stock has risen nearly 13% over a month and nearly 24% over three months, driven by a succession of technical breakthroughs.
The RSI at 64 remains below the overheating threshold, leaving room before reaching the overbought zone. The price is now 9.3% above the MM20 (€315.73) and 13.9% above the MM200 (€302.88), illustrating the strength of the momentum established since the mid-June rebound and the break of the €333.5 resistance, already crossed on June 24.

In recent news, the group has entered into exclusive discussions with the Gorgé family for the purchase of Exail Technologies at €128.50 per share, announced on June 28. The transaction includes the acquisition of the control block, followed by a mandatory public offer for the remainder of the capital. From the analysts' desks, CIC Market Solutions maintained its buy rating on June 29 with an unchanged target price of €355.00, representing a residual upside potential of about 2.9% relative to the current price.
The stock is set against a favorable Parisian backdrop, with the CAC 40 up 0.52% and the SBF 120 up 0.62%, while the aeronautical sector remains supported by recent industrial announcements from the group, including the joint venture with Theon in drone optronics and the ramp-up of the AASM Hammer. With the price now close to its highs, the next milestone to watch remains the €355 target set by analysts.
