Schneider Electric Shares Bounce Over 3% and Recross Key Averages
The electrical equipment specialist significantly rebounds in mid-morning trading within a CAC 40 buoyed by geopolitical easing in the Middle East. The stock erases part of its recent consolidation and regains ground above its short-term moving averages, after several sessions of decline.
A Marked Rebound Bringing the Stock Above Its Short-Term Moving Averages
Schneider Electric shares gain 3.2% to €273.80 during the session, among the strongest rises in the CAC 40, which is up by 1.12%. The stock moves back above its MM20 (€269.51) and MM50 (€267.49), thresholds it had lost last week, after the decline on Wednesday. The RSI at 48 remains neutral, indicating no extremes, while the MM200 at €247.30 provides a comfortable cushion of nearly 11% below the current price, reflecting an intact underlying trend. The next technical resistance is at €287.15, a level that was approached in early June during the previous assault on the record high.

The movement occurs as European markets welcome the announced framework agreement between Washington and Tehran on a ceasefire and the gradual reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. Brent crude falls by about 4%, easing inflationary pressure and supporting industrial cyclical stocks. Saint-Gobain, Stellantis, Renault, Safran, and Airbus lead the Paris index, in a favorable rotation movement towards exporters and equipment suppliers.
Schneider Electric had also launched an €800 million OCEANE due in 2034 at the beginning of June, an operation that weighed on the stock at its announcement and whose technical effects now seem to be digested. The next concrete appointment: the J.P. Morgan European Industrials conference on June 16 in Surrey.
