Schneider Electric Shares Hit Record High of €291, Leading the CAC 40
The electrical equipment specialist reaches a new all-time high during the session, extending the upward trend that began at the start of the month. The stock is among the top gainers on the CAC 40 and confirms its role as a driver of the Parisian index in the session.
The stock hits a historic peak of €291 and ranks among the top gainers of the CAC 40 at the opening
Schneider Electric shares gained 2.85% to €290.80 at the opening, after reaching €291.00 during the session, a new all-time high surpassing the previous peak of €290.20. The stock is among the strongest performers on the CAC 40, just behind Legrand (+3.69%), while the index itself rose by 0.35% to 8,460 points. This movement is part of a marked rally: the stock has gained nearly 13% over the week and about 16% over three months. The rebound on June 15, triggered by geopolitical easing in the Middle East, served as a technical pivot point with the crossing of short-term moving averages.
A stretched technical configuration as the stock moves significantly away from its averages
The price is now 6.93% above the MM20 (€271.96) and 17.12% above the MM200 (€248.29), a gap that reflects the magnitude of the recent bullish movement. The RSI at 59 remains in the neutral zone, indicating that the rise is occurring without an immediate overheating configuration. The immediate support is at €287.15, a former resistance breached in early June and now turned support. Above this, the next psychological threshold is at €300, with no previous technical reference in this zone. The macro context remains mixed: the Fed has maintained its rates while mentioning the possibility of further tightening, and the French construction sector continues to deteriorate (construction climate at -17.2 in May). Moreover, the group had launched a €800 million OCEANE at the beginning of June with a maturity of 2034, an operation that initially weighed on the stock before being absorbed by the current rebound.
