Sodexo Hosts the Grand Finale of Cook for Change in London
Sodexo has announced, through a press release, the organization of the Grand Finale of its culinary competition Cook for Change on March 24, 2026, in London. This internal competition brings together nine finalist chefs from eight countries to celebrate culinary excellence and commitment to healthy and sustainable food.
Sodexo's Sustainable Culinary Challenge
Cook for Change! is presented as Sodexo's sustainable culinary challenge, aimed at stimulating chefs' creativity and celebrating their commitment to healthier and more sustainable food. This fourth edition aligns with the group's ambition to use food as a lever for positive impact and performance for its clients. The competition is organized in partnership with Rational Group, a global leader in cooking technology for professional kitchens. According to Thierry Delaporte, CEO of Sodexo, the initiative 'proves that performance, pleasure, and sustainability can move forward together.' The nine finalists, from Australia, Brazil, Chile, the United States, France, India, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, will each offer a recipe that places vegetables at the heart of the dish, focusing on seasonality, nutritional quality, and reducing carbon footprint.
Reaffirming Sodexo's Ambition Through Culinary Excellence
Through this competition, Sodexo reaffirms its ambition to position food as a lever for positive transformation for its clients and consumers. The company's chefs are portrayed as key players in translating consumer expectations into concrete solutions: demanding, inventive, and health-conscious cuisine. Through their choice of ingredients, cooking methods, and creativity, they also guide consumers towards more planet-friendly eating practices. The finale will feature an award ceremony on March 24, broadcast live on YouTube, followed by a reception showcasing the dishes of the finalist chefs. This fourth edition has gathered more than 500 chefs from 30 countries over the past months, with regional semi-finals held in November in Chicago, Shanghai, and France.
