Sodexo issues €1.1 billion in bonds across two tranches at 4.00% and 4.50%
The collective catering group has placed a bond issue in two tranches on the euro market. The net proceeds are intended notably for the repayment of an existing tranche maturing in April 2027.
An issue in two tranches maturing in 2032 and 2036
Sodexo announced on 26 August 2026 that it had issued a bond denominated in euros for a total nominal amount of €1.1 billion. The transaction consists of two tranches.
The first, of €600 million, matures on 2 September 2032 and carries a fixed-rate coupon of 4.00% per annum. The second, of €500 million, matures on 2 September 2036 with a fixed-rate coupon of 4.50% per annum.
The bonds will be admitted to trading on Euronext Paris from the settlement and delivery date scheduled for 2 September 2026. They are expected to be rated BBB by Standard & Poor's and Baa1 by Moody's.

The net proceeds from the issue will be allocated to the general requirements of the company, in particular for the forthcoming repayment of the outstanding bond loan of €800 million bearing interest at the rate of 0.750% and maturing in April 2027 (ISIN: XS1505132602).
According to the group, the transaction is part of the management of its financial structure, strengthening its liquidity profile while extending the maturity of its debt.
BNP Paribas and ING Bank N.V., Belgian Branch acted as Joint Global Coordinators and Joint Lead Managers, alongside Crédit Industriel et Commercial, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe, Natixis and Société Générale, who also acted as Joint Lead Managers.
