Sodexo to Host Cook for Change Final in London on March 24
Sodexo has announced it will host the Grand Finale of its culinary competition, Cook for Change, on March 24, 2026, in London. This fourth edition will bring together nine finalist chefs from eight countries, chosen from over 500 participants across 30 countries.
A Showcase of Commitment to Culinary Innovation and Sustainability
According to Sodexo, Cook for Change represents a showcase of its commitment alongside its clients to evolve catering offerings in response to consumer expectations and sustainability challenges. The fourth edition is organized in partnership with Rational Group, a global leader in cooking technology for professional kitchens. The competition unfolded over the past months featuring a renewed format that included regional semi-finals held last November in Chicago, Shanghai, and France. Thierry Delaporte, CEO of Sodexo, stated that the initiative demonstrates the company's belief that 'food is both a powerful lever for positive impact and a driver of performance for our clients.'
International Chefs to Compete in London
The nine finalist chefs, hailing from Australia, Brazil, Chile, the United States, France, India, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, will compete in London before a jury that includes renowned chefs and experts. Each has crafted a recipe that places vegetables at the heart of the dish, focusing on seasonality, nutritional quality, and reducing carbon footprint. The award ceremony will take place on March 24 in the presence of Sodexo's clients and partners and will be broadcast live on YouTube, followed by a reception featuring the dishes created by the finalists.
