Soitec (French specialist in semiconductor materials) broke its absolute record by reaching €161.90 shortly after opening, marking a weekly gain of over 53%. The sequence remains exceptional: the price has almost quintupled since the beginning of February, with a performance of 399% over three months. The stock then pulled back to €151.85, in the area of the old resistance at €157.90. The movement extends the pause that began the previous day when the stock had dropped 3.65% to €147.90. Technically, the RSI is at 84, indicating a clear overbought condition, and the price is at the very top of the Bollinger band (96% of the width), very close to the upper limit at €156.88. The MM20 at €95.40 shows the deviation from the recent dynamics.

Deutsche Bank Doubles Its Target and Matches the Current Price

Deutsche Bank raised its price target from €70 to €150 on Monday, switching to a buy rating, a target now nearly aligned with today's price. This is the second major adjustment in less than a month, following Jefferies' move at the beginning of April. The stock market movement now exceeds all the revised targets by analysis firms. The schedule will become busier. Soitec will publish its 2026 annual results on May 27, the first factual opportunity to match the fundamentals' trajectory with a price that has almost quintupled in three months. The first quarter 2027 revenue is expected on July 29. Until then, the stock remains dependent on the dynamics of the semiconductor market and its ability to hold the old resistance at €157.90, now a pivotal zone.
