The sensor is based on a new backlit pixel architecture, designated ST DeepNIR, presented as offering 35% superior modulation transfer function and almost 60% higher quantum efficiency than the previous generation. It is offered in a 3.7 mm × 3.2 mm CSP package and integrates embedded image processing functions.
