Technip Energies Opens Its Capital to 17,000 Employees with a 20% Discount
Technip Energies launches ESOP 2026, an employee share ownership plan aimed at approximately 17,000 eligible employees across 19 countries. This initiative seeks to involve employees in the long-term value creation of the group.
The ESOP 2026 offer will be available in Germany, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Belgium, China, Colombia, United Arab Emirates, Spain, United States, France, India, Italy, Kuwait, Malaysia, Norway, Netherlands, Qatar, United Kingdom, and Thailand. About 90% of the group's workforce will have the opportunity to participate. The operation will be conducted through a capital increase, covering a maximum of 1.5% of the share capital, with a total subscription limit of 55 million euros.

The subscription price will be equal to the arithmetic average of the volume-weighted average prices observed over the 20 trading days preceding the opening of the subscription period, reduced by a 20% discount. The shares will be subject to a lock-up period of 5 years, except in exceptional cases of early release authorized. Employees may subscribe through a corporate mutual fund (FCPE) or, in some countries, directly. Two plans are offered: ESOP Classic and ESOP Leverage, the latter involving a banking structure provided by Société Générale and including hedging operations on the markets.
