Technip Energies Stock Leads SBF 120 and Breaks Through €32.60
The energy engineering group is posting the strongest gain in the SBF 120 at the start of the session, in a well-oriented Paris market. The publication of its nine-month results this morning is providing momentum to a rally that has been extending for several weeks.
Orders Multiplied by Four, EBITDA Margin Declining
Technip Energies published its results for the first nine months this morning, revealing two opposing trajectories. Order intake reached €14.1 billion, compared to €3.36 billion a year earlier, while recurring EBITDA margin fell to 6.9%, down from 8.8%.
The group confirms its 2026 guidance and its target of over €800 million in annual EBITDA by 2028. These unaudited results were compiled in a disrupted environment in the Middle East, with the Strait of Hormuz crisis.
Arnaud Pieton, the Chief Executive Officer, indicates that profitability improved after a low point in the second quarter, with the third quarter posting the highest quarterly EBITDA level in the group's history.
CIC Market Solutions, for its part, maintains a buy recommendation with a price target of €39, approximately 9% above the current price of €35.74.
Support at €32.60 Reclaimed and Resistance Identified at €41.10
The stock gained 9.6% to €35.74, after reclaiming its support at €32.60, a former resistance level broken through on the upside and now becoming a technical support point. It is now trading more than 17% above its 20-day moving average (€30.36) and advancing nearly 14% over the week.
The RSI at 75 signals an overbought configuration. The next resistance level is at €41.10. With a gain of 9.63%, Technip Energies is leading the SBF 120, which is advancing 1.1% at the same time.
