Téléverbier: Revenue up 5.3% in H1, but Net Debt Jumps 66.7%

Téléverbier has released its results for the first half of the 2025/2026 fiscal year, showing a revenue of 79.5 million Swiss francs, an increase of 5.3% compared to the same period last year. The company now aims for a total revenue of 90 million Swiss francs for the full fiscal year. However, this commercial improvement is accompanied by a deterioration in the financial profile: net financial debt has surged by 66.7% year-on-year, from 8.7 MCHF to 14.5 MCHF.

Attendance and Revenue Increase in the First Half

The group recorded a revenue of 79.5 MCHF in the first six months of the fiscal year, marking a 5.3% increase compared to the same period last year. This performance is based on an increase in the number of skier days: Téléverbier SA counted 1,261,322 up from 1,218,442 the previous year, while Télé-Thyon SA recorded 484,232 up from 468,481. Given the seasonality of the sector, the group generates more than 90% of its revenue in the first half, with the second half dedicated to maintenance and investment works.

In terms of equity, the group's equity stands at 160.5 MCHF. However, net financial debt has deepened, increasing from 8.7 MCHF a year ago to 14.5 MCHF at the close of the first half. The release does not specify the origin of this 5.8 MCHF increase, but it corresponds to a 66.7% rise in net debt over twelve months.

Financial Goals for the Full Fiscal Year

The group aims for a revenue of 90 million Swiss francs for the complete 2025/2026 fiscal year, an increase of more than 5.5% compared to the previous year. It also anticipates a net income attributable to the group ranging between 4.5 MCHF and 5 MCHF for the year. These targets reflect the management's confidence in continuing the commercial momentum, but it remains to be seen how the group will manage the debt profile in the context of marked seasonality and investment needs.
