TomTom Expands Partnership with Citeu for Traffic Analysis in Europe
TomTom has announced the expansion of its partnership with CitiEU, a specialist in transport modeling, forecasting, and planning solutions.
The agreement covers the supply of location data and traffic analysis for clients in Europe and the Middle East.
An Extended Partnership Agreement Between TomTom and CitiEU
TomTom, a specialist in mapping and location technologies, announced on September 10, 2026 the expansion of its partnership with CitiEU, a specialist in transport modeling, forecasting, and planning solutions.
Under the terms of the agreement, CitiEU will leverage TomTom's location technologies to develop location analysis, traffic intelligence, and mobility solutions for clients in Europe and the Middle East.
TomTom Products Mobilized Under the Agreement
Under this agreement, CitiEU will have access to a portfolio of TomTom products including Traffic Analytics, historical traffic volumes, real-time traffic services, map data, and Maps APIs.
These tools aim to develop solutions for analyzing mobility patterns, monitoring traffic conditions, and supporting planning decisions, for uses such as market analysis, traffic studies, emergency response, network resilience, and route optimization.
A Collaboration Engaged Since 2012
CitiEU indicates it has been a TomTom partner since 2012 and uses its data in its transport modeling projects.
The company has also developed a web portal, called the Intelligent Mobility Hub, intended for public and private organizations, which leverages TomTom's real-time data to automatically generate reports, alerts, and analysis.
