Toosla Launches Global Platform with 15,000 Destinations and an Asset-Light Model
Toosla announces the launch of version 3 of its mobile application, marking a strategic milestone in becoming a global car reservation platform. By integrating partner offers, the platform now offers access to over 15,000 destinations for its users.
Enhanced User Experience and Expanded Mobility Offerings
Developed by Toosla's R&D teams in late 2025, version 3 of the application enhances the user experience while significantly expanding the range of mobility services accessible from a single interface. Available on iOS, Android, Mac, and PC, the new app allows Toosla users to book vehicles for business trips, weekends, or holidays in France, Europe, and globally. This evolution was made possible by integrating a search engine for offers from selected partners. Designed as a comprehensive mobility concierge service, the application becomes a single gateway for organizing all car rental reservations, similar to what Booking has created for accommodation.
Three Complementary Revenue Channels
Toosla now operates three complementary revenue channels: vehicles operated directly, particularly in Paris; vehicles operated through an affiliate network, present in Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Nice, and Toulouse; and the intermediation of reservations, allowing the distribution of partner offers where Toosla is not present. In this latter aspect, Toosla acts as an intermediation platform and earns a commission on each booking made via the application. This approach is fully aligned with Toosla's 'asset light' strategy, which incurs no additional operating costs on rentals operated by partners, while still generating a commission. Since its launch at the beginning of 2026 without specific marketing communication, the service has already met with commercial success, with nearly 10% of bookings recorded involving rentals operated by partners in over 100 cities where Toosla has yet to establish a presence.
