Toosla: Pascal Ghoson succeeds Panayotis Staïcos as head of car rental company
The car rental company announced on October 12, 2026 the replacement of Panayotis Staïcos at its helm. The board of directors has set the new executive the priority of "quickly and sustainably returning the Company to the path of profitable growth".
Pascal Ghoson co-opted as director, appointed chairman and chief executive officer
The board of directors of Toosla decided to co-opt Pascal Ghoson as a director before appointing him Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer, in succession to Panayotis Staïcos.
Pascal Ghoson founded Findrive, a company specializing in the financial leasing of high-end vehicles. He chairs the board of directors of Hopium, a clean technology company that aims to decarbonize heavy transport.
He also spent part of his career in finance, at Lazard, Goldman Sachs and Rothschild & Co.
A change following Toosla's financial restructuring
Panayotis Staïcos held various levels of responsibility at Toosla since 2021. According to the press release, he participated in the company's initial public offering, and then, following his appointment as Chief Executive Officer in July 2023, led its financial restructuring and development.
The board of directors indicates that this evolution in governance follows a period marked in particular by Toosla's financial restructuring, the reduction of its debt, the deployment of its new technology platform and the expansion of its network.
The board entrusted Pascal Ghoson with the mission of opening a new stage of development for the company, following what it describes as a "major debt reduction" carried out since February 2026.
