Tractial Partners with DinoVox for Web3 Payment Solutions in French Polynesia
Tractial has announced a strategic partnership with DinoVox to launch its payment solutions in French Polynesia, aiming to facilitate their adoption by the local economy.
Implementation of Innovative Payment Solutions
According to the press release, Tractial is collaborating with DinoVox to deploy its payment solutions, including Web3 and Bitcoin pathways, in French Polynesia. The agreement includes the establishment of a pilot model designed to accelerate the integration of digital payments using blockchain technologies and cryptocurrencies within the island economy. The proposed solutions feature crypto or hybrid payment pathways, convertible into euros, as well as identity verification (KYC) and tracking tools adapted to local regulations. Tractial aims at a targeted market, allowing for rapid testing, measurement, and iteration of payment pathways before any expansion to other Pacific territories.
Showcasing Technological Capabilities
Tractial states that the initiative will serve as a showcase and operational proof for its prospects in the Pacific area, including neighboring islands, retail networks, and local institutions. The company highlights that its Fintech-as-a-Service infrastructure, which integrates acceptance, orchestration, and reconciliation of transactions, is designed for rapid replication of the model in other tourist and island markets. This project is locally supported by Hellmouth Banner, founder of DinoVox, who previously served as the editor-in-chief at Journal du Coin and organizes the Polynesian Islands Crypto Summit (PICS).
Developing the FenuaVerse Metaverse
The press release details that DinoVox is developing the FenuaVerse, presented as an educational and business metaverse inspired by Polynesian culture. This initiative, described as 'Web 2.5', aims to bridge the traditional economy and Web3 technologies by offering digital usage education and training, support for businesses transitioning to blockchain, and community and cultural valorization of local stakeholders. The system is designed to attract both residents and visitors, as well as investors, with the explicit goal of establishing a Web3 adoption laboratory in the Pacific region.
