Ubisoft: Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced to Release on July 9 for Consoles and PC
Ubisoft announced on Thursday the launch of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced on July 9 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, featuring accessibility enhancements to broaden game access.
Launch and Available Platforms
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced will be released on July 9 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Ubisoft Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. The game offers a renewed and enhanced experience highlighting the adventure of Edward Kenway sailing through the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy.
Integrated Accessibility Improvements
The game incorporates several new accessibility features. Additions include a persistent and customizable focal point in the center of the screen to mitigate motion sickness, larger subtitles (up to 46 pixels), colorblind options that modify essential visual effects such as special attacks and intuition highlights, and more intuitive control customization. Screen narration now covers menus and gameplay, including coordinates and essential location information. HUD customization extends to gameplay elements like docking highlights. Players can disable motion blur, screen shakes, and camera effects. An expanded audio glossary includes naval gameplay events, with granular customization options for sound. Control remapping offers increased depth, with hold/toggle modes for naval and land actions, support for multiple devices with automatic switching, and inversion of the X and Y axes. Multiple difficulty levels are available for naval and land gameplay, activities, and stealth. Time-limited events and shark attacks can be skipped. Aim assist offers four levels, and unlimited oxygen allows access to underwater activities.
