Valeo and Zuken Partner to Launch AI-Enhanced Electronic Design Platform

A Partnership Merging Automation Software and Automotive Expertise

Valeo, a global leader in mobility technologies, and Zuken, a pioneer in electronic design automation software, are joining forces to redefine design workflows in the automotive sector.

The partnership is based on the integration of Zuken's AI roadmap with Valeo's AI agents and industrial expertise. According to Christophe Le Ligné, Vice President of Research and Development, "Zuken is much more than a software provider; it is a true partner in innovation." The approach aims to hybridize Valeo's proprietary AI tools with Zuken's software engine, reducing design times while ensuring 100% robustness.

Four Pillars of Co-Innovation Covering the Entire Design Flow

The collaboration structures its co-innovation around four dimensions. First, functional generative design: Valeo will deploy its AI generation on Zuken's System Planner to instantly create and assess optimal architectures according to its standards.

Secondly, digital continuity: Zuken's open platform will ensure integration with the Valeo ecosystem and full traceability according to the Automotive SPICE 4.0 standard (ASPICE 4.0). Thirdly, detailed AI-assisted design: Valeo will integrate AI agents (virtual co-pilots) to guide engineers in real-time, while Zuken will develop native AI functions to accelerate schematic entry.

Finally, automated placement and routing: Valeo uses Zuken's SDK to act directly in Design Force and train its AI on the extreme constraints of the automotive industry, aiming for a 'First Time Right' execution.
