Valeo unveils its commercial vehicle offering ahead of Hanover IAA show
Ahead of the IAA Transportation show in Hanover (September 14-20), the automotive equipment supplier presented the strategic directions of its offering for commercial vehicles, centered on electrification, driving assistance systems, and centralized software architectures.
Electrification, ADAS and software at the heart of the heavy-duty offering
Valeo indicated it is strengthening its positioning in electrification, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) up to level 4 autonomy, and software-defined vehicle (SDV) technologies with centralized software architecture.
The group reported growing demand for technologies intended for commercial vehicles, particularly in the field of ADAS, to meet safety and comfort needs. It indicates it is continuing its activity in its historical segments, namely lighting, wiping systems, propulsion systems and thermal management.
Valeo will present its solutions in Hanover (Hall 20, stand 30) and will hold a conference titled "The future of Autonomous Transport" on September 15, with an intervention by Detlef Juerss, Director of Sales and Business Development.
Safety, last-mile delivery and remanufacturing among the presented focus areas
On the safety front, Valeo highlighted its Adaptive Driving Beam lighting technology, already established on passenger cars and introduced to the commercial vehicle market, as well as a driver monitoring system designed to meet GSR II and NCAP 2026 standards.
The group also presented its Cyclee solution for last-mile delivery, including the GO7 Gen4 assistance system and the PixelRide interface, as well as its Valeo anSWer software offering for trucks with centralized software architecture.
Valeo also reiterated its remanufacturing approach, presented as a strategic pillar of its aftermarket business and integrated into its "I Care 4 the Planet" program. Its REMAN range now includes more than 6,000 references distributed across four categories, and the REMAN 2.0 program is expanding to electronic parts and components related to electrification.
