Verallia Stock Drops 2.5% and Breaks New Technical Support
The French glass packaging manufacturer sinks into the red mid-session, as the SBF 120 also declines. The stock falls again after a brief calm, breaking a new technical threshold during the session.
The stock breaks through its €19.34 support and moves away from its moving averages
Verallia stock loses 2.22% to €18.91 by midday, while the SBF 120 is down by 0.74%. During the session, the stock broke its support at €19.34, which was the last closing price, to settle at €18.84 intraday before a slight rebound. This break extends the movement already started last week, when the stock had already lost a monitored technical threshold. The price is now below its three moving averages: 4.45% under the MM20 (€19.79) and 11.55% under the MM200 (€21.38), a gap that reflects the deterioration of the medium-term trend. The RSI at 45 remains neutral and does not send any oversold signal, leaving room for further decline before a potential exhaustion point.

Over a week, the glassmaker loses more than 6% and nearly 5% over a month, erasing part of the recovery that began in the spring. The stock still maintains a quarterly performance of over 18%, reflecting the rebound observed since the end of March, but remains heavily in deficit over the year with a decline of nearly 33%. The index context does not support the value: the CAC 40 loses 0.72% and the SBF 120 0.74%, in an environment where the VIX drops to 17.51 without however signaling a clear return of risk appetite. The operational headquarters remains in Courbevoie, under the chairmanship of Michel Giannuzzi. In the short term, the next area to watch is the €20.20 resistance, whose reconquest would condition a return above the short moving averages.
