Wolters Kluwer Raises €500M Through a 3.625% Bond Due in 2033
Wolters Kluwer announced on Monday the successful placement of an unsecured senior bond denominated in euros. The funds raised will be allocated to the general needs of the company.
The Dutch publisher placed a €500 million bond with an annual coupon of 3.625%. The securities were issued at a price of 99.255%, slightly below par. They are due on June 22, 2033. The issuance enjoyed extensive subscription from European institutional investors. The bonds will be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. Settlement is scheduled for June 22, 2026, a week after the announcement.

The bond is expected to receive an A- rating from Standard & Poor's Global Ratings Europe. The transaction was structured by a syndicate of five banks: ABN AMRO, Bank of America, Citigroup, ING Bank, and Rabobank.
