2CRSi seeks to relocate part of the value added from its GODì range to the Port of the Rhine
Aether Infrastructures signed on October 9, 2026 a promise of sale concerning the former Dumarey Powerglide industrial site (former Punch Powerglide and General Motors), at the Port of the Rhine in Strasbourg, according to a press release from 2CRSi published on October 12, 2026. A member of the Aether consortium and anticipated supplier of servers for the site, the Strasbourg designer is backing a project to relocate part of its production there.
2CRSi seeks to relocate part of the value added from GODì servers to Strasbourg
In addition to the ranges already manufactured in Strasbourg and Manchester, 2CRSi wishes to relocate to the site, named FR-SXB2, part of the value added from the production chain of its GODì server range. Initially, this relocation will focus on the integration of main components: processors, DRAM memory and SSD storage. In a second phase, the group plans to also produce motherboards.
According to the press release, this step should enable the creation of a supply chain for electronic components necessary for artificial intelligence servers. The site is to host an industrial facility capable of designing, assembling, integrating, testing and qualifying high-performance servers and pre-integrated artificial intelligence factory modules before being deployed on-site or delivered to third-party customers.
A prototyping and mechanical and electronic production center is to support this activity. With approximately 110,000 m² of buildings, the site "aims to become, in the long term, Europe's largest industrial site dedicated to artificial intelligence infrastructure," according to the press release.
A sale subject to approval by the Strasbourg Autonomous Port
The completion of the sale remains subject to usage conditions, including approval by the Strasbourg Autonomous Port. Parallel to the promise, a lease was concluded: it will allow Aether Infrastructures to occupy, as of October 15, the already available areas of this approximately 90-hectare site.
The project is organized around three pillars: Aether Utilities for energy, Aether Facilities for the campus and its buildings, and Aether Compute, which is to operate an artificial intelligence factory offering data center services, dedicated server rental and cloud computing services. In addition to the supply of 25 MW by Strasbourg Électricité Réseaux, solutions are being studied with Socomec (storage and electrical security) and Haffner Energy (electricity production through biomass thermolysis). The consortium brings together notably ÉS, Valeo, Demathieu Bard, Equans, Nvidia, AMD, SiPearl, Dassault Systèmes and Outscale.
The revenue potential put forward by 2CRSi concerns the deployment of the first computing capacities in the 2026-2027 financial year, at an estimated one billion euros according to the group's estimates. The group presents it "under the usual reservations": a delay in obtaining permits or in the availability of components could postpone all or part of deliveries beyond the close of its financial year, set for end of June 2027.
