+4.5% in five sessions: Virbac stock climbs 1.5% and approaches its 50-day moving average
The veterinary laboratory from Carros continues its recovery in mid-morning trading, in a Paris market oriented upward. The stock regains altitude after a very brief breakdown of support in early October, and returns to a technical zone it had abandoned.
A rebound that brings the stock into contact with its 50-day moving average
The Virbac stock gains 1.43% to €320.00, or nearly 4.4% over a week, while the SBF 120 advances 0.95%. The price is now in contact with the 50-day MA (€321.36), at just 0.4%, and 3.2% above the 20-day MA (€310.03). The stock had briefly broken through its support at €302 on October 1st before rebounding, which places this €302 zone at approximately 5.6% below the current price.
The 200-day MA (€344.09), 7% above, remains the most distant level. The RSI at 52 is neutral, following a movement that developed without excess.

Following the H1 2026 results published on September 17 after market close, Virbac reported organic growth of 7.4% and confirmed its annual objectives, now at the high end of its growth range. The stock had nevertheless declined 5.5% the following day, and remains down 0.9% over three months, with today's session being part of the recovery phase that followed. The group also published on October 6 a press release tracing the 30 years of its Thai subsidiary, whose revenue reached €13M in 2025.
A €1 billion share buyback program, announced on June 9, 2026, remains a context element for shareholders. For the stock, the level to watch is the 50-day MA at €321.36, which the price is almost touching.
